    Love this plant

2 months after planing, only 1 of 10 plants did not survive. Love the color of the leaves and looking forward to the fruit!

Slow growing, needs supplemental water in dry spots

Posted by Joe Z on 12th Nov 2020

I purchased Thimbleberry hoping it could be used as a fast growing slope stabilizer in a spot that used to be overrun with blackberry. The stock was good quality and all survived. However, when the soil dried out in mid-summer the Thimbleberry stopped growing and dropped most of its leaves. They are still alive but Ninebark is doing better in the same conditions.
