    Low Otegon grape EXCELLENT!

Oxbow farms provided the best low Oregon grape at the best price point I've ever received at the conservation district plant sales.

    slow but steady

Supplemental water has kept these going in a tough spot under a walkway redcedar. They've settled in and are putting on some bulk after 2 years.

These recovered after planting and exhibited some new growth in the first year. Partial sun. Rocky/clay soil. Redmond, WA.

    Pretty foliage but slow growing

Posted by Joe Z on 11th Nov 2020

These come as tiny plugs and grow slowly, but Oregon Grape is a pretty, evergreen groundcover that can handle dry summers without extra watering. All of mine are alive after 2 years but still fairly small.

    did not survive

I carefully followed the instructions by removing all the leaves before planting. None of the plants had any new growth. They are just stems in the ground
